Death examination prompts closure on southbound 57 Highway with Brea.

A casualty investigation on the 57 Highway triggered authorities to shut the southbound lanes with the Brea location Monday early morning.
The case was reported soon after 5 a.m. on the southbound 57 Highway near Imperial Highway, according to the California Freeway Patrol's web traffic incident log. The Orange County coroner was called to the scene after the body of a pedestrian was found, the CHP log specified. It was uncertain exactly how the deceased individual ended up in the area or if any kind of vehicles were associated with the incident. A SigAlert was issued for the closure of all southbound lanes. Web traffic was being drawn away off the freeway at Lambert Road. The closure was expected to stay in place until about 8 a.m. Aerial video clip from Skies 5 showed a number of miles of traffic backed up completely to the Diamond Bar location.
